Fingerprint sign-in as default option on Windows 11
2021年11月4日 · In order to use fingerprint, I have to select "sign-in options" and click on the fingerprint. I have restarted the computer numerous times, and each time I am asked to enter my PIN and have to go through this extra step to use my fingerprint to sign-in. How do I get my fingerprint as the default option to sign-in as I had using Windows 10.

2023年2月25日 · Once you've removed the fingerprint, click on the "Add another" button to re-register the fingerprint. Follow the on-screen instructions to re-scan the fingerprint and register it again. After you've re-registered the fingerprint, Windows Hello should have a more accurate reading of it and should be able to recognize it more reliably.

Aparently they told me the default verification for a computer that has 2 options for a password is the entered password. From what i gatherd from the Dell rep is that the fingerprint scan is a secondary system for security verification.
