I can't believe it's not just unlimited T&T but with 1Gb for $92 on ebay, AND $5/Gb top-ups. $92 and I'm covered for the next year.

You can try contacting another customer service rep to confirm the info you received but start finding another provider and begin porting out now while you still can.
