2024年10月18日 · Same issue here... Microsoft 365 / Office app does not pickup the policy, but works as expected on Outlook. Testing this on an old Galaxy S8 with Android v 8.0.0 installed. Our Conditional Access policy is targeted to "All cloud apps" with "Require App protection policy" as the condition. App protection policy is scoped to "All Microsoft Apps".

When signed out, APP no longer applies (since policies are assigned to users and the user has signed out). The user can then sign back in, and policies are re-applied.

Every time office updates (monthly) some app disappeared like excel, word, etc, mostly Excel... my workaround is Run "excel /safe" and works, but next month is happen again. Now the .xlsx or .docx files are white icon like no application associated, running that command are back again. Hope to find a solution soon. Thanks to share
